Welcome Back And What’s Changing

SPEAKER_00

Hello, friend. Chaplain Terry Warner here. Hope you're having a good day. This will be a new podcast coming out. I've been on a break, you can tell. You're going to see some changes to the website, thechaplainscorner.net, as I have a new book coming out. I have a book coming out and others in the mix. Plus, I've changed the sermons up a little bit and a little teaching up a little bit. And I decided to be a little more peppy. And I listened to it the other day and I thought I was at a funeral. And I'm not. I'm a happy man. Happy, happy, happy. Alright. Let's get going. This is called the Gift of Speech. Season 2026, Episode 18. It was written to go back on air back on April the 6th. And I got something else substituted in in place of it. A lot of times

God Knows You And Loves You

when the uh I get the Lord gives me something, the devil steps in there and tries to disrupt everything. And for the past few months that's been the major cause of a lot of problems. So I apologize for the inconveniences and not being around when I needed to be. But I'm back and I'm up and I'm ready and I'm improving. I'm not far, I got a little ways to go yet on my health issues. So let's look at this. The gift of speech. Your foundation scriptures are 1 Thessalonians 5 and Galatians 4, verse 9. I remember the time, not exactly, but the time of space in my life when I came to the knowledge that God, the creator of the universe, the creation of man, and then by really reading and studying his word, Jesus, in other words, realized that God actually knew my name. The numbers on my head, my disposition disposition, my name, and every secret about me that only I know about. This is the God who created me in his image, and even though I failed to meet his expectations, still intricately and intimately, he still calls me his child. I am loved unconditionally. Thank you, God. Also Romans 5.8. But God shows and clearly proves his own love for us, me. And I have in parentheses here. Terry, it is okay to add your name here if you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, by the fact that while we were still sinners, Christ, the Messiah, the anointed one, died for us. We also can't just read verse 8 in Romans without reading verse 9. At least I can't. Therefore, since we are now justified, acquitted, made righteous, and brought into right relationship with God by Christ's blood, how much more certain is it that we shall be saved by him from the indignation and wrath of God? Romans 5 9 amplified. God's

New Identity Means A New Name

SPEAKER_00

love toward me cost you, God, in other words, the life of your Son. He was hung on a cruel cross of shame and defeat in every area of not only my life, but everyone and everything that He created. All principalities, powers, spirits and beings, and everything else that I cannot even think of, Jesus paid it all, period. With that introduction in mind, let's listen to God Himself, using one of His creations now renamed Paul, expand and define how our life as a Christian should be lived. Did you ever wonder why Paul Saul had his name changed to Paul? Well, Saul was a very educated man, and he was a strict Jew, very, you know, very conservative and strict and followed the guidelines. But when he got born again and became a new creation in Christ Jesus, he wasn't that old man anymore. He was not an old sinner saved by grace. He was a new creation in the image and likeness of God. That's what it means when you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. So you couldn't be talking calling him Saul, so he just changed his name to Paul. Sort of like me, I changed my name to chaplain because

Staying Awake And Living Steady

SPEAKER_00

that's what I do. And my I am a certified chaplain. But yes, I changed my name to chaplain because the Father, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, looks on me as part of the body of Christ. And I get to share in rewards and prizes and all kinds of stuff that God gives to me freely. With that in mind, let's listen to God Himself. Here we go, verse one or verse one, I think it is. But as to the suitable times and precise seasons and dates, brethren, you have no necessity for anything being written to you. There is a forged letter being circulated stating that the end times had already come. That's Second Thessalonians 2 2. For you yourselves know perfectly well that the day of the return of the Lord will come as expectedly and suddenly as a thief in the night. When people are saying all is well and secure, and there is peace and safety, then in a moment unforeseen destruction, ruin, and death will come upon them as suddenly as labor pains come upon a woman with ch woman with child, and they shall by no means escape, for there will be no escape. But you have not given up to the power of darkness, brethren, for that day to overtake you by surprise like a thief. For you are all sons, daughters of light, and as sons of the day we do not belong either to the night or to the darkness. Accordingly, then, let us not sleep as the rest do. Let us keep wide awake, alert, watchful, cautious, and on guard, and let us be sober, calm, collected, and circumspect. For those who sleep sleep at night, and those who are drunk get drunk at night. But we belong into the day, therefore let us be sober and put on the breastplate of our corset of faith and love and for a helmet of salvation. For God has not appointed us to incur his wrath. He did not select us to condemn us, but that we might obtain his salvation through our Lord Christ, Jesus Christ, the Messiah, who died for us so that whether we still are alive or dead at Christ's appearing, we might live together with him and share his life. Therefore encourage, admonish, exhort one another, and edify and strengthen and build up one another, just as you are doing. Now we also beseech you, brethren, get to know those who labor among you, recognize them for what they are, acknowledge and appreciate and respect them all, your leaders who are over you, and the Lord and those who warm and kindly reprove and exhort you, and hold them in very high esteem and intelligent and sympathetic appreciation of their work. Be at peace among yourselves. And we earnestly beseech you, brethren, admonish, warm and seriously advise those who are out of line, the loafers, the disorderly, and the unruly. Encourage the timid and faint hearted. Help and give your support to the weak soul, and be very patient with them. Everybody always keeping them in your temper. Always keeping your temper. See that none of you repays another with evil for evil, but always aim to show kindness and speak to do good to one another and to everybody. Be happy in your faith, and rejoice and be glad heartily, continually, always. Be unceasing in prayer, praying persevere perseveringly. Thank God in everything, no matter what the circumstances may be. Be thankful and give thanks, for this is the will of God for you, who are in Christ Jesus, the revealer and mediator of that will. Do not quench or suppress or subdue the Holy Spirit. Do not spurn the gifts and utterances of the prophets, do not depreciate prophetic revelations, nor despise inspired instruction, or extortion or warning. But test and prove all things until you can recognize what is good. To that hold fast, abstain from evil, shrink from it, and keep aloof from it, in whatever form and whatever kind it may be. And may the

God of peace himself sanctify you through and through, separate you from proper thing things. Make your pure and holy consecration to God, and may your spirit, soul, and body be preserved sound and complete and found blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Messiah. That's first Thessalonians 5, 1223. Here's some things to think about. And by the day, my new book coming out is called Something to Think About, Volume 1. Yeah, it'd be out. Oh, probably in a month. I'll have I have I'll have it on the website and we'll announce it. Sorry, I digress. God is a spirit. John 4 24. God is a spirit, a spiritual being, and those who worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth or reality. Why was it necessary for God to send Jesus? Why didn't God just defeat the devil for us and set everything back to like it was in the Garden of Eden? Stop thinking about that. Nip it at the bud, we would say. Well, mainly because God wasn't the one who needed to be redeemed from the curse. God actually was the redeemer. But because of religion, sin, the nature of evil during ruling and over the world, we were, mankind, convinced that God had turned against us. How many times we've been told, well, God's trying to teach you something? God's doing this horrible thing to you to teach you something, to show you something. Oh baloney. God is love. And if it hurts, it's not love. Well, you know, you know what I mean. Sent not fleshly love. God was the redeemer, but because religion, sin, the nature of evil ruling in and over the world, we were, mankind in other words, convinced that God had turned against us. This was possible because of man not following God's word, and therefore was deceived into believing God wanted us punished, starting with Adam and following mankind, the laws of the flesh and defeat. If God came back to earth to redeem man, there are some conditions that must be dealt with. If God in spirit form came to earth, but remained in his spiritual condition, how could we hear him, see him, fellowship, and be part of his family? We couldn't. When Adam sinned, he broke the communication

SPEAKER_00

carrier of God. What was that communication carrier? Words. Rather, Adam broke the communication link by disobeying God. It took God having to send a man that was 100% God, 100% man, and because he was 100% God, we called and recognized him as the word made flesh, or another word, Jesus. Let this same attitude and purpose and humble mind be in you which was in Christ Jesus. Did you catch that? Let him be your example in humility, who also being essentially one with God and in the form of God, possessing the fullness of the attributes which make God God, did not think this equality with God was a thing to be eagerly gasped, gasped, grasped, or retained, but stripped himself of all privileges and rightful dignity so as to assume the guise of a servant, a slave, and that he became like men and was born a human being. And after he appeared in human form, he abased and humbled himself still further, and carried his disobedience to the extreme of death, even death on the cross. Therefore, because he stooped so low, God has highly exalted him and has freely bestowed on him the name that is above every name. Oh get ready. Here we go. That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow of things in heaven and things on earth and things under the earth. Friend, if you are a Christian, you are the body of Christ, and the head does the speaking. Jesus is speaking through you, spreading his word, his will, his desire through you. Now, if you don't use your tongue for good stuff, the opposite happens. And every tongue, frankly and openly confess and acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father. Philippians 2, 5 to 11, amplified. God is a spirit. John 4 24. We said this earlier: God is a spirit, spiritual being, and those

SPEAKER_00

who worship him must worship him in spirit and truth or in reality. How does God control his kingdom? By words. That's Jesus, folks. That's Jesus. Hebrews 1, verse 2. But in these last days he has spoken to us in the person of a son. Because if he remained in his spiritual state, we would not have been able to hear it. Flesh and blood are not able to understand and comprehend God in his direction for our lives on this earth. Because our spirits that are dead to God cannot hear and understand God, because dead men, spiritually or even physically, are unable to respond. That's why Jesus came from heaven, 100% man, born of a virgin. 100% man, but also 100% God. The Redeemer must be God. The Redeemer must be a man born physically on this earth. The Redeemer must be totally sinless. That would mean that the seed that brought Jesus into the world must be God Himself. That is why Mary had to be a virgin. This seed of mankind had to come from God the Father. The Redeemer must have been seen and felt on this earth. The Redeemer must be seen and felt on this earth physically, so mankind can have a body to communicate with. Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign. Behold, the young woman who is unmarried and a virgin shall conceive and bear a son physically, and shall call his name Emmanuel, or God with us. Then the angel said to her, The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the most high overshadow you like a shining cloud. And so the holy, pure, sinless turn the page. So the holy, pure, sinless God, Son of God, the first begotten of the dead, the one and only begotten of God until he was born again. And when he was born again, he became the firstborn from the dead. Well, if he became the firstborn from the dead, then our number is in there somewhere. So praise the Lord. I'm part of the body of Christ. I live and move and have my being inside him. And he lives his life through me. Do you catch that? He lives his life through me. God is living his life and desire through you. Did you know he's literally seated or enthroned by the praise of his believers? Friend, the gift of speech, no other animal, creation has this. Oh, they make noises. They make sounds, they can make signs, they can be taught a few things. You know. But only man has the gift of speech. Why? Because it is by your mouth you are justified or condemned. Man shall give an account for every idle, inoperative, non-productive word they speak. Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord. I hope you enjoyed this little podcast. I did. I had a good time. The Lord bless you and keep you. The Lord make his face shine upon you and be gracious unto you. The Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace. And you're going out and you're coming in, and you're lying down and you're rising up in the night and in the daytime, in your laughter, and your leisure. You have a great and fantastic time in Jesus Christ. Jesus is Lord. In Jesus' name. Amen.
