Your day can fall apart before you even hit record, and that’s exactly why daily Scripture matters. We kick things off with a foundation promise from Job 22:27-28 about prayer, follow-through, and the kind of faith that decides and then watches God bring light to your path. From there, we lay out a simple, repeatable practice: 31 daily decrees, one Bible verse per day, designed to steady your mind and strengthen your spirit.
We move through a month’s worth of Bible-based declarations that cover real-life needs: joy and gratitude (Psalm 118:24), consistent praise (Psalm 34:1), strength under pressure (Philippians 4:13), and confidence that God meets your needs (Philippians 4:19). You’ll also hear powerful promises for courage and protection, including Psalm 23, Isaiah 54:17, and reminders that the Holy Spirit in you is greater than what you face. If you’ve been looking for Christian affirmations that are actually rooted in Scripture, this is a practical place to start.
One thread we keep coming back to is the power of your words. Revelation 12:11 highlights overcoming “by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony,” and we connect that to choosing your language carefully when you feel stuck. We close with clear guidance: read one decree every morning, think on it through the day, and memorize it if you want. Subscribe, share this with a friend who needs steady faith, and leave a review so more people can find these daily decrees.

We're gonna start finally getting this decree listed. I was reading along in the Bible one day, some time ago, and I read this in Job. And this will be your foundation scripture. Job 22, verses 27 and 28. You will make known your prayers to him, and he will hear you, and you will fulfill your vows. What you decide on will be done, and light will shine on your ways. Hello, friends, Chaplin Terry Warner here. I was going to have thirty days of decrees, and the moment I sat down to make this podcast, everything came to a stop, fell apart, or broke. So finally today I got myself back on
Why Commit To Daily Decrees
SPEAKER_00track, got everything caught up, and you get in your podcast, your daily degree podcast. It's really, it's really neat. We're going to do daily decrees. We're going to do 31 of them, one for every day. And once you do these a month, you can start them over and do them and do them again. So let's get going.
A Month Of Bible Based Decrees
SPEAKER_00Day one, Psalm 118, verse 24. This is the day the Lord has made. Let us rejoice and be glad in it. Day two, Psalm thirty four one. I will extol. That means to praise enthusiastically at all times. His praise will always be on my lips. Day three. Philippians four thirteen. I can do everything through him who gives me strength. Day four Philippians four nineteen, but my God shall meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus. Day five. Day six, Revelation twelve eleven. They overcame him by the blood of the lamb and by the word of their T H E R testimony. They did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death. Think about that. They overcame by the blood of the lamb and the word of my testimony, the word of your testimony. Not overcoming? You don't you need to you need to pick your words. Day seven, Psalm twenty seven one. The Lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear? Day eight, Proverbs four, twenty through twenty two. My son, pay attention to what I say. Listen closely to my words. Do not let them out of your sight, keep them within your heart, for they are life to those that find them, and health to a man's whole body. Day nine, first Corinthians one thirty. But of him are you in Christ Jesus, who of God has made unto us wisdom and righteousness and sanctification that's separated unto God, and redemption. Day ten, first Corinthians twelve seventeen. Friend, if you have accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you are the body of Christ. Here's the quote If the whole body were an eye, where would the sense of hearing be? If the whole body were an ear, where would the sense of smell be? eleven Day eleven Romans twelve twenty one. Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good Day twelve John four four. You dear Christian children are from God and have overcome them because the one who is inside you, that would be the Holy Spirit, is greater than the one who is in the world. Day thirteen Psalm twenty three four Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for your rod and staff they comfort me. Day fourteen Isaiah fifty four fourteen in righteousness, God's you will be established. Isaiah fifty four seventeen. No weapon that is formed against you will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and the righteousness is their vindication or righteousness for me. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord. Let me back up and get all of it. No weapon formed against you will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord and their vindication or righteousness for me, declares the Lord. Day sixteen, Galatians one four, who gave himself for our sins to rescue us from the present evil age, according to the will of God our Father. Day seventeen, Proverbs twelve eighteen. Reckless words pierce like a sword, but the tongue of the wise bring healing. Day eighteen James one hundred twenty two. Do not merely listen to the word and so deceive yourselves, do what it says. Day nineteen Romans ten nine and ten, that if you confess with your mouth Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with the heart that you believe and are justified, are made righteous, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. Day twenty, Hebrews eleven, one through three. Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. This is what the ancients were command commended for. By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God's command, so that what is seen isn't was not made out of what is visible. In other words, faith is the stuff that brings it all together. Galatians three, this is day twenty two, Galatians three, thirteen and fourteen. Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written, Curses is everyone who has hung on a tree. He redeemed us in order that the blessing given to Abraham might come to the Gentiles through Christ Jesus, so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit. Day twenty three, Romans eight and eleven, verse eleven. And if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his spirit who lives in you. twenty four Day twenty four, first Corinthians one thirty through thirty one. It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God, that is our righteousness, holiness, and redemption. Therefore as is written, let him who boast boast in the Lord. Day twenty five, Matthew sixteen through nineteen, I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. Then the words, this is my own comment, then the words you speak are going to determine if you are binding or loosing heavenly things in your life. Your words. Revelation 12 11. They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of testimony. They did not love their life so much as to shrink from death. Yeah, I notice I got a couple of them here twice. That's okay. When you get ready making your own decrees, do it however you want to do it. Day twenty-seven. James four, seven and eight. Submit yourselves then to God, resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double blinded. Day twenty eight, Psalm one hundred eighty nine, verse eighty nine. Your word, O Lord, is eternal, it stands firm in the heavens. Day twenty nine, Isaiah fifty four thirteen. All your sons will be taught by the Lord, and great will be your peace. Day thirty, Romans twelve one. Therefore I urge you, brethren. Therefore I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God, this is your spiritual act of worship. Excuse me there. Day thirty-one, Psalm 119-105. Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.
How To Practice One Verse Daily
SPEAKER_00Now you take these decrees and you read one a day, every morning, preferably, and you dwell and think about it all day long. Memorize it if you want to, because it's not too long. But think on these things. That's what you do.
