Hello everyone. Chaplain Terry Warner here. I thought I'd share a little story with you that I've been thinking about the last few days, and the Lord reminded me of it. This is something that happened over 40 years ago.

I was in Wiley, Colorado at the Brethren Church. I don't think it's there anymore. The church is there, but I think it's different. And I was preaching there. I went there one Sunday to fill in and stayed two and a half years. So that really a nice church, really a nice bunch of people. I really enjoyed it. Anyway, I'm up there preaching my sermon, saying what the Lord's having me say, and I'm just preaching away and everything's going good.

How God Hears Prayer

And the Holy Spirit spoke to me and said, Terry, when you pray to me, how do I hear your prayers? Well, I don't know. You got a big phone system up there or something, or you got something operators, you got people online. You can take more than one call. You're God, you can do quite a bit. I honestly don't know. So, well, how do you know it's me when I talk to you? And I said, Well, that's easy. I hear you in my heart. He said,

God Listens To Your Words

Son, that's exactly the way I heard you is in my heart. That stopped all the squalling and bawling and carrying on. And it it really impressed me that Jesus lives inside me. And the more I want to be like Jesus, the more Jesus will come through me to others. But I want to say this to you. That was over 40 years ago. And the next thing the Lord said to me, this was this morning, was, Terry, did you notice I was listening to your sermon also? Does God hear your prayers? You bet. Does he hear your sermons? You bet. If you're preaching, if you're teaching. Does he hear you? If you are a child of God, he hears you. If you don't think God's hearing your prayers, give yourself to Jesus Christ. Give your heart to Jesus Christ. Make him Lord of your life. And get your antennas tuned in to the Spirit of God and learn to hear from God so that you can get over things. You have a blessed
