Unforgiveness can feel like strength, like you’re protecting yourself, keeping the score, making sure “justice” happens. But I’ve learned it’s a cage. Captain Terry Warner lays it out plainly: trying to get even is not a healing path, and forgiveness is the open door to living free. Grounded in Scripture and practical Christian living, we talk about kindness, mercy, and why repaying evil for evil only keeps the pain working overtime.
From there, we shift into a daily faith mindset that refuses doom and gloom. Psalm 118:24 becomes a battle cry for ordinary days: if God gave you breath today, you can rejoice today. We press into real questions like: Are you in the Word? Do you have a Bible study going? Are you having fun in Jesus, or stuck in complaint and frustration? This is heart-level discipleship, not performance.
Then we get specific about prayer and spiritual growth. We call out the “grocery list” prayer life and invite you into unceasing prayer with purpose, including the simple discipline of a prayer journal. We also explore the Holy Spirit, spiritual gifts, speaking in tongues, and prophecy as tools for closeness with God, encouragement, and direction, not confusion or hype. Captain Terry shares bold faith declarations about divine health and prosperity even while dealing with Parkinson’s symptoms, and he closes with a clear invitation to give your heart to Jesus Christ.
If this stirred something in you, subscribe for more, share this with a friend who needs freedom, and leave a review so more people can find it. What part hit you hardest: forgiveness, prayer, or spiritual gifts?

Welcome And Scripture Foundations
SPEAKER_00Hello everyone. Captain Terry Warner here. Thought I'd entice you and make your day by getting to see my face. At least it's not on the post office. You younger generation wouldn't know what I mean by that. This will be season 2026, episode 17. It will air on April the 27th, 2026, at 1 o'clock in the morning, if I can get it up there. And it is no longer an old sinner, but it's made a child of God, part three. Your foundation scriptures is 1 Thessalonians 5, Galatians 4 9, 2 Corinthians 4 9, 2 Corinthians 5 21. I'd check those scriptures on me if I were you. Don't ever take anything I say without checking it up. Find it in the Bible for yourself. Don't don't take my word for it. I make mistakes, would you know? You wouldn't never know it, but I do. I make them. See that none of you repays another evil for evil, but always aim to show kindness and see and do good to one another and to everyone. Seems like everything in this world is loud and crying out for fairness and justice and equality if the outcome isn't in our favor. Unforgiveness is an impossible situation that just digs the hole deeper. Forgiveness, on the other hand, is your open door to getting out from under this stuff in this life and live as a king and a victor, kings and queens, reigns, kings and priests. Trying to get even or pay back everyone for what you may have legal and good reasons. Unforgiveness is a he unforgiveness is not a healing path. Forgiveness is a path for you to live free and to sponsor, to prosper in everything you do. Beloved, I wish above all things that thou would prosper and be in health even as your soul prospers. Are you having a good time in Jesus? Why not? Are you got a Bible study going on? Why not? Are you in the Word? Why not? This is the day which the Lord has made. Let me back up. Verse 16. Be happy in your faith and rejoice and be glad hearted continually, always. This is the day which the Lord has brought about. We will rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 118 24. If you are about if you're able to read this, then God has given you another day to worship Him and to have fun with Christ. Are you having fun? Are you all doom and gloom? The world's coming to an end and you're in the middle of it and you're going to get caught probably without. You've been living without so long you don't know how to live any other way. Christ cures that. Oh gosh, Terry. It also gives you the opportunity to have a life of complaining and frustration. That is, if you hold or harbor or keep unforgiveness in your heart. My definition of frustration is when you have no one to blame but yourself. May this day count for you and not against you. Learn to make godly decisions, but by doing what is right. Be unceasing in prayer, praying, purse severingly. This is probably one of the most neglected items in our Christian world. We don't pray enough, and when we do pray, it seems like a lot of time the prayers are empty, lack of direction, or just asking God for a grocery list. Give me, give me this, Lord. Give me, give me that. I gotta give me, give me mentality. Oh I really needed this, or I really needed that. Oh Lord, you're not listening to me. Oh Lord, won't you buy me a Mercedes Benz? Alright, though that's too old, is your younger generation probably haven't heard of. One is a uh a family group. Really cute. Give me, gimme this. And the other one is Janice Joplin. Yes, I know who Janice Joplin is. Are you keeping a prayer journal? Why not? Are you praying in the Holy Spirit? Why not? Tongues. Speaking in tongues. Why not? Eagerly pursue and seek to acquire this love. Make it your aim and your great quest, and earnestly desire and cultivate the spiritual endowment gifts, especially that you may prophesy, interpret the divine will and purpose and inspired preaching and teaching. If you want to know what God's going to do, you're going to have to prophesy. You're going to have to get in and get close to Him. He's not going to share details with you if you won't fellowship with Him. At the same time, when you prophesy and you speak to God in unknown tongues, He knows what you're saying. The devil doesn't. Keep your conversations between you and the devil quiet. Keep your personal conversations between you and the Lord quiet. You don't need somebody telling you you can't do that or that passed away. You don't need that. Let them discover what they can find. You do what's good and right, and the Lord will repay you. For the one who speaks in an unknown tongue speaks not to men but to God. For no one understands or catches his meaning, because in the Holy Spirit he utters secret truths and hidden things, not obvious to the understanding. But on the other hand, the one who prophesizes, who interprets the divine will and purpose in inspired preaching and teaching speaks to men for their uphold upbuilding and constructive spiritual progress and encouragement. God will encourage you. He wants you to do a good job. He wants you to become part of his family. He came to earth to save it, not condemn it. For God so loved his world, for God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believed in him should have eternal life. It doesn't get any better than this. And all this stuff isn't gonna it won't be in heaven. You don't have enemies in heaven. The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not walk. He makes me lie down in green pasture, he restores my soul, he leads me in the path of righteousness. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil. There is no shadow of death in heaven. That's for when you're here on earth. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever. Amen. So be it. Before leaving tongues, give some this some thought. Tongues are the livings that you have never cursed in, spoken out of place or lied in. It is the speech of love, and it is a gift from the Holy Spirit. The New Testament instructs us to speak in tongues. John Wesley wrote a hymn about it, O four thousand tongues to sing. We will pick up the action and instruction in the very near future in these following podcasts. But realize this, the closer you get to the Holy Spirit, the better it's going to be. You have your need met. Now, what does the Bible say? The Bible says I can live and walk in divine health and prosperity. Even though I'm have these Parkinson symptoms that you see me move around. Sometimes it's fun. I really get down with music if I get a good song good song going. He knew he who knew no sin was made to be sin for me, that I may be in right standing with God the Father. I live and walk in divine health and prosperity. Everything I set my hand to do prosper. I'm more than a conqueror through Jesus Christ. I can do all things through Jesus Christ who gives me strength. In him I live and move and have my being. I've been made the head and not the tail. I live and walk, and I have fun and I have a good time with the Lord Jesus. And I run to meet him. But you know what? He runs to meet me faster. Jesus loves you. Give your heart today to Jesus Christ. Just say, Father, come into my heart. Take my life, fix it, and let me show and live others how to live and walk in Jesus Christ with you as my big brother. You have a blessed day in Jesus' name. Amen.
