Series Setup And Scriptures

SPEAKER_01

Hello, friend, Chaplain Terry Warner here. This set or series is going to be no longer an old sinner, but made a child of God. This will be part one. Your foundation scripture will be 1 Thessalonians 5, Galatians 4 9, 2 Corinthians 5 21. It'll be season 2026, episode number 15. And it will publish out on Monday, April the 15th, the 13th. My goodness. Time flies when you're having fun. Let's get going. I remember the time in my life when I came into the knowledge that God, the creator of the universe, the creator of man, and then by reading and studying his word, Jesus, realized that God actually knew my name, the number of hairs on my head, my disposition, my name, and every secret about me that only I know about. This is the God who created me in his image, and even though I failed to meet his expectations, still intricately and intimately he still calls me his child. I am loved unconditionally. Thank you, God. Let me read something right quick for you. This is Galatians 4. And I'm going to start in verse 9. But now, after that you have known God, or rather are known of God, how turn you again to the weak and beggarly elements whereunto you desire again to be in bondage. Not only do we know God, God knows us. He knows you. I mean He really knows you. Stop and think about that. I remember my mom telling me, You better behave. God's watching everything you do. I need to think, man, how can I get out of that? Well you can't. So you need to behave. Also Romans 5 8. But God shows and clearly proves his own love for us. Me, Terry. It is okay to add your name here, if you have received Christ as your Lord and Savior. By the fact that while we were still sinners, Christ, the Messiah, the anointed one, died for us. We also can't just read verse eight in Romans without reading verse nine. At least I can't. Therefore, since we are now justified, that word justified, acquitted, made righteous, and brought into right relationship with God by Christ's blood, how much more certain is it that we shall be saved by him from the indignation and wrath of God amplified God's love toward me cost you God the life of your Son. He was hung on a cruel cross of shame and defeat in every area of not only my life, but everyone and everything that He created, all principalities, powers, spirits and beings, and everything else that I cannot even think of, Jesus paid it all. However, with the above introduction, before we go deeper into Scripture, let's take a closer look. As long as you see yourself as a forgiven sinner and not as a righteousness of God, you will not see yourself correctly, and see yourself as God sees you. For he, God the Father, has made him Jesus to be sin for us, who knew no sin, that we might be made the righteousness of God in him, Jesus. If that is a fact, and it is, how do we deal with the sins we commit daily? Technically, the only difference between gluttony and murder is a comma. Let that sink in there a minute. Herein is our love made perfect or mature, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment, because as he is, Jesus is, so are we in this world. How can this be? Well, when you made Jesus your Lord and Savior, your spirit man was redeemed, and you were created anew, being in the image and nature of God. Now, if you will continue to feed your spirit man with the word of God, God will start molding and making you a mature child of God and a joint heir with Jesus Christ. Romans eight seventeen. Today, if you need to start saying what God says and dump the old sinner mentality and vocabulary because that old sinful man died when you became a Christian. Hang on to this article. We'll pick up part two next week and then part three and four as we go on. Folks, Jesus Christ died for you. He fixed it so you don't have to suffer at all. You can live in divine health and prosperity. Everything you set your hand to do prospers. You are more than a conqueror through Jesus Christ. You can do all things through Jesus Christ who gives you strength. In him you live and move and have your being. Jesus Christ has made in me wisdom, righteousness, sanctification and redemption. I've been made the head and not the tail. I've been made a king and a priest. I am representative as an ambassador of Christ on this earth. That's how I need to live for others. I need to show others a light, not show others how to sin. I need to show them how to walk a righteous and wholesome life and pleasing to God. You have a blessed day in Jesus' name. Amen. It's time you put that old man to death. He died on the road to Damascus. His name is Paul, and he became the one of the greatest apostles of the church. What is your mission in God's life? What is your mission in God's plan? What is your plan with God? Don't have it? Haven't figured it out? Just having fun and enjoying your salvation? That's fine. But grow bigger than that. There's more to life than just being good. There's Jesus Christ who you really need to get to know. Amen.
