Hello friend, Chaplin, Terry Warner, here, this will be your first step in getting healed. Series 3, episode 43, S3 E43. It will air on October 23, 2023. Your foundation scripture is Proverbs 4, 21-27. The Bible is God talking to you. It's your instructions before leaving earth, basic instructions before leaving earth. If you want your initials to set where you can remember it, you should be reading your Bible and marking the verses that God makes real to you, which should be quite a few of them. Let's look at Joshua 1.8. Do not let this book of the law depart from your mouth. Meditate on it day and night so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. Let's look at Proverbs 4, starting in verse 21. My son, pay attention to what I say. Listen closely to my words. Do not let them out of your sight. Keep them within your heart, for they are life to those who find them and health to a man's whole body. Of all else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life. Put away perversity from your mouth. Keep corrupt talk far from your lips. Let your eyes look straight ahead. Fix your gaze directly before you. Make level paths for your feet and take only ways that are firm. Do not swerve to the right or the left. Keep your foot from evil. Joshua 1.8. Do not let this book of the law depart from your mouth. Meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. I read that a second time because a lot of you are going to say well, chaplain Terry, that's Old Testament. Ok, I agree with you. It's Old Testament, so let's go to the New Testament. 2 Peter, 1: 20. Above all, you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture came about by the prophet's own interpretation, for prophecy never had its own origin in the will of man. But men spoke from God, as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit. Let's stay in the New Testament. Go to 2 Timothy, 3:16-17. All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. Do you know that Jesus defeated the devil and obtained your healing under the Old Covenant? Did you ever stop to think about that? He could not use his divine power, his godly power, to do anything on earth. He had to defeat man on man's terms. That was all man and all God, and he did that. He walked this earth under the old covenant and recorded the Bible. What did he quote? The New Testament hadn't been written yet. He quoted the Old Testament and totally defeated the devil and walked in victory and purchased your salvation, and you're not so sure that the Lord still heals you. Well, let's get ahold of some more verses here. Jehovah Rapha, the Lord that heals you. Exodus 15:26 says If you listen carefully to the voice of the Lord, your God, and do what is right in his eyes, if you pay attention to his commands and keep all his decrees, I will not bring on you any of the disease diseases I brought on the Egyptians, for I am the Lord who heals you. Deuteronomy 28,. If you want to look at the curses and there's a lot of them. Well, Chaplain Terry, there you are back in the Old Testament again. Okay, let's jump over to the New Testament, Hebrews 13:8. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. Now it's God's will for you to be healed. I know I can hear some of you already saying Well, I know so and so and they didn't get healed. Well, that's between God and so and so. The Bible says it's his will for you to be healthy, walk in health and prosper, even as your soul's prosper. The Bible says that it's it's it's will to have you live and walk and move and have your being. The Bible says that you are more than a conqueror. The Bible says that you can do all things through Jesus Christ, who gives you strength. The Bible said that the words in this book are medicine to my body, medicine to my flesh. So if I take enough of the Bible unlike regular medicine if I take enough of the Bible I can double dose up and get healed up a lot faster and get on the road to work and walk in the walk that God wants me to walk a lot quicker. Now let's say you go to the doctor that you're sick and he gives you a prescription and that's fine and there's nothing wrong with doctors God created doctors too. As a matter of fact, luke was a physician. But you go to the doctor and the doctor gives you some pills so this will take care of it, what you got and you take them home and you put them on the bed table there or the nightstand by your bed and you just leave them sit there and then you call the doctor up next week and say you know, I'm not any better than at all, I'm not any civil. Did I get you get the medicine? Yes. Did you get the prescription? Yes. Are you taking it? No, it's just sitting here on the table. Well, how do you expect the medicine to work if it can't get inside you? Likewise, how do you expect the word of God to work in your life if it's not on the inside of you? So many people want to sit down and pray a prayer and believe God for a healing and then get mad and upset with God because they didn't get healed. But they didn't do a thing except the bare minimum to ask God. And sometimes God does heal, just out of the goodness of his heart and just because the person finally gets enough faith to bring it about. Or God wants to prove a point or something. But if you want to be healed, you have got to do it from the inside out. That spirit man has got to be the one doing the healing. Can God heal? Sure, he can heal you. He can heal you without any problem at all. Don't get me wrong. But here you are trying to seek your healing. Don't look for ways that it won't work. Look for ways that it will work. And that means get in the Word. Get in the Word, well, better yet, get the Word into you because when you get it into you it's going to change your life for the better, any way you look at it, and you're going to get healed in Jesus' name.
