Word Related Part 1

     In the past, I have been treated like a child and pitied because I took the Bible literally and presented the Bible as fact. After all, we have been told by others, that the Bible is full of contradictions, half- truths, exaggerations, and fairy tales. (1 Corinthians 1:18) 

     Despite all the hypes and insults, I find the Bible to be the absolute, infallible, Word of God. (Hebrews 4:12) (2nd Timothy 3:16, "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: (17) That the Man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.) If I don't understand it, or fail to comprehend it, or find it not believable, then it falls on me and not on the author.

     Stop and think, that the history and authenticity of the Bible was somehow an invented story of the creation of the World and because of my superior intellect; that I can disapprove the greatest story ever told. It is absurd that any Man was capable of bringing about creation.

     Let us go down the rabbit hole of truth. Not our truth, but God's truth. To create a world of order and defined structure, for it to last for a thousand or several million years, the creation, structure, and spiritual laws must be 100% right and have order to them. Even molecules and atoms, without structure and order, by laws, form nothing but confusion and disarray. God created the heavens and the earth and God himself said in Genesis 1:31, "And God saw everything that he had made, and behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day."

     I think the naysayers need to rethink or at least go back to school for them to have more time to reconsider their conclusion.

     So, in Part 2, we will look at a couple of facts that make the Bible a Book that can be trusted.

     There is more to this earth than Mankind. The earth, at one time, was void and didn't exist. We are told, by the Bible, that God created the heavens and the earth. How do we know that? Man was not even around at the beginning. Once Mankind was created, who told the Man what he needed to know to explain the creation. It was God who created all things, and all things exist through His Son, Jesus Christ.

     I urge you to read Colossians 1:15-20 and discover for yourself that Jesus is God and was sent to destroy the works of the devil. (1 John 3:8)

     So many of us have remained spiritually ignorant of God's plan and purpose for creating the earth and Man that we have wandered way off track of our responsibility and functions that we need to have toward God.

     The Lord is returning for His Family very soon. I know it seems like a long to time for us. However, just read 2 Peter 3:4 and if the Lord tarries, we will show some proof next week.
