BC to AD: Living in New Time
Our spiritual journey mirrors the historical BC/AD timeline, with our lives divided into before accepting Christ and after becoming new creations in Him.
• The birth of Christ was so monumental it divided history into Before Christ and After Christ
• Every document signed with a date acknowledges Christ's existence, even by non-believers
• Our personal spiritual timeline follows the same BC/AD pattern
• Before salvation, we count down our BC time; after salvation, we count up in our AD time
• 2 Corinthians 5:17 teaches that in Christ we become new creatures
• Believers should stop "feeding the BCs" of their lives—the dead things Christ removed
• God's mercies are new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23)
• Death and life are in the power of the tongue (Proverbs 18:21)
• Christians should start living and speaking "AD" rather than dwelling on the past

Bc stands for Before Christ, ad stands for After Christ or Anno Domini, and it's measured in time and years, and in the past times and years was calculated or counted by what Emperor or King or dictator was in power at the time.
